Have you ever seen the Tokyo Tower at night?

The Tokyo Tower is one of the iconic monuments you must visit when you come to Tokyo. It is also one of the most destroyed structure in anime and in a lot of the Godzilla movies. Some of my favorite movies of all time I like the original.  Godzilla (Gojira) is the giant monster from the series of tokusatsu films that first appeared in Ishirō Honda's 1954 film Godzilla.

The Tokyo tower at dusk, they turn on the lights and gives a nice glow. Construction started June 1957, then Completed in 1958, Opening to the public December 23, 1958, Costing a total of ¥2.8 billion or (US$8.4 million in 1958).

An amazing feat of structural engineering. Built in 1958, the tower's main sources of revenue are tourism and antenna leasing. Over 150 million people have visited the tower since its opening.

The building under the Tokyo Tower to allow access to the elevator to the top and to sell you souvenirs. Or FootTown, a four-story building located directly under the tower, houses museums, restaurants and shops.

It is a long way to the top or to the ground if you’re falling. The two-story Main Observatory is located at 150 metres (490 ft), while the smaller Special Observatory reaches a height of 249.6 metres (819 ft).

They make the elevator hard to see at the center with its design. The tower acts as a support structure for an antenna. Originally intended for television broadcasting, radio antennas were installed in 1961, but the tower is now used to broadcast signals for Japanese media outlets such as NHK, TBS and Fuji TV.
