Can you come up with the words that would acutely describe the natural splendor that the Ginkaku-ji "Temple of the Silver Pavilion" has to offer?

The Kannon-den is the main temple structure that was construction began February 21, 1482 it is popularly known as Ginkaku, the "Silver Pavilion" because of the initial plans to cover its exterior in silver foil.

It is a nice structure in its design and function but I would still like to see it silver plated.

Peering around the sand garden you can see a line of small scraggly scrubs dwarfed by some tangled trees.

This one bush stands on its own fighting for the sun.

Looking around the other side of the sand garden you see some of the large disheveled trees beside the pond.

A nice view of the pound with the Ginkaku-ji "Temple of the Silver Pavilion" in the background.
