Have you ever been to Daitoku-ji the ‘temple of Great Virtue’?

Daitoku-ji the ‘temple of Great Virtue’ is a Buddhist temple, one of fourteen autonomous branches of the Rinzai school of Japanese Zen. It is located in Kita-ku, Kyoto, Japan. The "mountain name" by which it is known is Ryūhōzan. The Daitoku-ji temple today covers more than 23 hectares (57 acres).

The main building 0f Daitoku-ji the ‘temple of Great Virtue’.

Beautifully manicured lawn area.

A very old much worn Buddhist carving.

They always have an eye for style in the old Buddhist temples.

Lastly a little well-manicured area.
