This week in the adventures of Jeremy Japan we have a calming moment at the end of the Kinkaku-j Temple.

Japanese incense has a long history that stretches back to the 6th century CE. Incense would become an important facet of Japanese culture. Incense is used for a variety of purposes, including Buddhist ceremonies, spirituality and meditation.

The sweet scent of burning incense fills the air.

The hole in the rock has been there for a very long time.

A simple offering is given form Buddhist.

I really like they installed an English dispensing fortune teller.

One of the last bits of Kinkaku-ji Temple.
